El Pabellon -- a fantasia camp.
EL PABELLON Lorilee fights the crowds at El Pabellon Playa. We always stop here on the way south and on the way out of Baja. So many wonderful things here: shells, sand, very long walks and tasty clams. But just being here is the best.
TRAVELING FAST: We met a local rancher who agreed to rent us a couple of horses. When he brought the horses over, there seemed to be one too many.
The FILLY. The 3-month-old loved to outdo her dad, and fell back often so she could pass him up once again. These were working horses and took a lot of handling. And compared to cutting herds of cattle, they loved to run on the beautiful sand of El Pabellon.
