WHA..!!?: On the road to Puerto San Isidro, a careening pick-up sped past us. In the mirror I spied a 1 ton cow pacing back and forth in the bed of a 1/2 ton pickup. |

The PACIFIC: Three of us off the coast of Baja Norte near Puerto San Isidro. Trouble on our way back with a 25-knot wind and 8' swells. In Baja, Pacific or Sea of Cortez, at sea or on shore, it pays to be aware of the wind. |

MAROONED for an afternoon on this remote Pacific beach. Seals and otters escorted us in -- much like Monterey near our home. We are contemplating a permanent residence in Baja; this area gets a vote for the summer months. |
